Tasmanian woman contracts meningococcal disease

A woman from Devonport in northwest Tasmania has contracted the potentially deadly meningococcal disease. The woman, aged in her 30s, was on Sunday admitted to Mersey Community Hospital with the W strain of the disease and is in a stable condition. Her case is the fourth of meningococcal in Tasmania this year. SOURCE: Channel 7
